Stunning thread ... I have a spare part in the garage which is a different kind of gear stick mount design which might be useful for a track orientated car with so many upgrades. It is a very direct engagement for the gear selection. I will try dig it out over the weekend.

Yes page 55 ....post 1358-1360 Michael Thumbs up

Only difference is they are hard-shell Marguard = scratch resistant polycarb m8 ...1/4 as much again sadly plus fitted scoops to get more air in when the windows are open LOL .......plus putting more bolts to pull them in tight / fix them flat all round with no lifting anywhere seemed to strengthen the door surround ?....

OTT I know plus added a little weight LOL but remember they are Kevlar/ Carbon composite Doors so anything that strengthens them slightly helps ...

Tony Palfrey Carbon fitted door panels made a difference...weird but 100% truth ...the Doors didn’t flex hardly before Fitting these bits but helped 25% I recon

[quote="Day666"]PS ..anybody know or Guess better than me what 25mmTBs will need my dummy shock set to get similar ride height to my current 21mm TBs which came in at 313mm give or take 1mm per side ?

That measurement is centre to centre ..I take it 30mm approx drop from standard ride height ?

How did you get on with your measurements? I want/need to raise mine up as is a bit low at present

I set my Dummy Shock on the rear 295mm in the end ....which was spot on with 25mm TB ....I dropped my front also 20mm ....I’m really happy with the height 35mm front gap to bumpstop / 35mm rear gap between rear arm to bump stop Thumbs up

Can I just congratulate you and DD Dan for 2 of the most educational threads I have read on this forum?
As a newbie to 306 GTI-6's, and trying to race one, the pictures and advice from various people have been so useful.
They should be saved as part of FAQ's once completed so the rest of us can refer to them in times of need !

Well done to both of you.
I now need to rob a bank to get some of these fancy bits !! LOL

No mate, I mean't the inner cv joint on the driveshafts. It's called a tripod joint/bearing I believe. And i also think they're NLA which is why I was asking. Cheers

they've never been available separately, I'd imagine they'll be going in the shafts he already has.
