Looks brushed tbh
The good thing about brushing paint is it goes on bloody thick & wont wear so easy
I'll post some pics of mine when I've finished it ....can't fault this spray apart from the cost of each tin .
Everything sorted on yours now Adam ?

Right small update ....collected my new remanurfactured clutch cable .All ready for my Helix Clutch & Pressure plate .. Speedycables in Swansea took a new 6 clutch cable I bought from ECP for £24 & made both metal ends & took the automatic adjustment out & used most of the outside stuff .... Charged me £59 inc vat & delivery ... Hopefully that sorts out the weak spot on the cable ? Now also have metal ends for the throttle cable to the pedal also similar to the clutch end . The white clips are the weekness in these bas**rds Never personally had one go Ash / Stephen I'm trying to avoid it happening though & been told these Helix pressure plate kill them in 6months ? I thought for a bespoke item that was a fair price myself .... If anyone wants one you will need a old cable / new one really I feel for some of the bits as they don't stock them & I've made sure they kept a file on the size just incase I ever need another .. Took 2wks though ! |

Removed as much spare wiring as I could in side my car tonight .....these looms are crazy ...rear electric door loom in a 3 door ...waste !So much generic loom ... All the spare copper wire filled a large TESCO plastic 5p bag ... We weighed it & came to just over 5kgs ...mental ...I was so surprised PS don't forget I've still got all my door loom inc electric Windows ...for now & electric mirror & central locking loom at mo ...5kgs plus saving 7kgs on my flywheel all helps to make up for the cage weight |

I've created a brand new wiring loom for the race car. Think the total thing weighs less than the fusebox of the old loom!________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Cut off the ends I needed (lights and wipers only really) and soldered them on to new wires. No point cutting out as there was so much I didn't need it was far easier to create a new loom. I'm not running the standard dash etc. any more.Took a bloody long time and I'm not happy with the wiring inside the car so will need to spend time sorting that out, will have to wait though. ________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

Not posting any pics of the wiring, it's a mess and I really don't like it! One day I'll sort it out and then might post some but running out of patience with the car already so maybe not!________________________________________ Rallye Race Car |

After sorting out all my Electrical probs.....I had to fit a new battery Isolator as the old second hand Ebay 150amp so say £7 one fell apart inside ...Spent a few bucks on a competition Lorry one 250amp full time & 2500amp cranking ....it weighs a bit & feels quality & is all metal inside & out apart from the black isolation caseing outside .. Totally overkill x3 (I KNOW) but the car 150% does start much easier than with the other & better to be 110% with it failing again Day666 has attached the following image: |

Well I've finally gone & done it ...said I wouldn't but a wire was broke in my drivers side door loom right up by the end so new short loom was needed ...so I removed everything electric in both doors & fitted manual winders tonight that Miles supplied from his old race car ...2kgs of just door looms & Manual winders are half the weight of Electric ... I've removed 9kgs of electric windows & interior loom & Both door looms & 13 fuses now not required Picture below is just both door looms crazy Day666 has attached the following image: |

Chr1sch wrote: Haha no way! Good man, was the keep fit setup hard to fit? I would of kept the Electrics Windows if I had a choice but the main white thick power wire was snapped right by resin block & couldn't be mended ... Really easy to fit manual Windows Chris- 30min job each side ... Only problem is I have to open the door slightly to open the window because window winder handle hits door gusset half way round ....not a massive issue if I'm honest |
