Might have to do that somewhen before a proper track outing. Another litre on top seems a lot though? Ive had people complain of a box being difficult to engage into gears before and been down to either blocked breather or too much oil in the box. But I imagine they know what there talking about from the sounds of it. ________________________________________ Black power baby! I would think 5 speed wouldn't suffer quite as much being as the box isn't as stupidly long but having a better breather with slightly more oil (probably less than 1L on a 5 speed) should still help things.________________________________________ Black power baby! It was for 6speeds mainly as the 6th gear was so far away but he did say 5th & 6th gears are so far away ? |

Well a (small) update until my spray Fibreglass tailgate arrives / Sprayed As you may know ....used my car for the first time since November last year last at FCS this year .. I decided I needed to strap myself in tighter to give me the seat & harness to pull & push against ....no Power steering is great at speed & the better feedback you get is unreal (BUT) it sure beats you up & makes you hurt for days after ... I'm running a Schroth 4 point with anti sub upper ...but with extra Buckle space for Cetre leg sub buckle later on .... I felt it wasn't pulling me in enough at the base to use as leverage ...So I bought a upgrade for my Harness a 2point sub strap that clips between my legs pulling the seat down & in tighter They only had one & let me have it a ex display price ...ill try it & see ....? So now I've got a 4 point road legal (PUSH) buckle harness for road & the 6point option centre between legs strap for Track days & hill climbs Hopefully best of both worlds & 100% legal Day666 has attached the following image: |

Twinskin Fibreglass Tailgates been sprayed & a great job done...:all fitted back on & fits as good as Original just waiting for a Brand new (FREE) rear window to arrive Monday ...not fitting any trim as it will have a Hardshell grey Polycarbonate rear window fitted in the next 6months & same rear quarters which will get Bonded in also ...keeping front glass door windows though Day666 has attached the following image: |

Bent some 1.2mm Stainless plate & Tig welded a Stainless nut to the inside that will get bonded onto the tailgate ram positions spreading the weight out & holding the tailgate up ...I can screw the Ram nipple into the plate & clip the ram onto it ....Inside view below Day666 has attached the following image: |

Tailgate works well & Stainless bonded plate is speading the ram pressure out & not bending the Fibreglass ...I'm pleased Day666 has attached the following image: |

Day666 wrote: Well I've got it & its 1.3kgs in weight & stiff as hell with a little fibreglass natural flex It looks much better than the picture shows ...PS it was washed of because of dust in his workshop not had time to wipe it over yet The black dash is the top pic & green is the mould I now have & own ...it wasn't cheap to get made & was crazy money really ...but hay ho .... Also I got lots of extras fitted it has stop ends so you can't see behind on the ends & all sides & bottom curve under so yet again you can't see behind because Lower Glove box not copied ....also keep heater vents out & windscreen vents as if you want them you can fit them ...plus centre mid & upper glove box keep solid again if you don't want it remove it with a Dremel drill Also it fits inside of door bars and the return stop ends make it look professional ...just got to tidy up edges & trial fit again Ok ....more updates ... Got asked to take the mold to Pugfest & loads of interest in me making them & selling them ... Sadly I don't have the time or most importantly the money to front to get these made ? Two people said they would front the money but it's always a risk & I really don't think my Girlfriend would want me getting involved ... So someone on here's friend who deals with FG had a good look at it at Pugfest & said I'll be in touch ....and true to his word his m8 on here was ... He's bought the mold for a agreed price both of us are happy with & I know he will be getting them made & that way everybody on here & about could have one for a much better price .... Sorry if I've let anybody down wanting the mold but the money was transferred into my bank within 10mins .... And I'll let the said person who we all know & love tell you his Plans .... Sadly as with the Maxi Air scoop ...I can't afford to have expensive things hanging around .... Remember this mold & my dash out of it cost me near on £1000 to make & is a total one off & the mold maker took 7 full days to make it & said never ever again I hope those that saw my dash fitted will agree it's solid & flocked looks better than anything you could modify or cut down ...remember these are for heater box / Matrix removed cars I'm so so pleased it's gone to a chap on here that I know 100% will let you all benefit from the mold he's not greedy & puts his money where his mouth is Day666 has attached the following image: |

Mei ...according to the bloke that made the mould it good for anything apart from Autoclave as the fibreglass can't take the Temperature Not many people have those in the garage Would be great to see one in Carbon or Kevlar weave even ...not flocked & Satin not Gloss |

Small update ...Was trying EPAS Electric power steering? One of my customers deals in Classic Cars etc ...expensive stuff £300,000k up stuff ...I cut down curved & cut Flat Windscreens one offs that don't fit referbed cars etc .., Anyway I' dropped him off last week my spare steering column & he's told me he's made a test car & got it working with a ajustable switch ...I went to see it today in a car ...tried it on & off & slightly on etc ... Didn't feel like it had much feed back / motor assistanted & was left thinking that's not great This kit is £2k & not the Corsa B/C one ...but it was great to try a top end product ...not impressed sadly ..
