Evening all! Been lurking a while so thought I'd say Hi, bought a black rallye a few months ago. Spotted it when wind blew cover off it one day, never noticed it before and it had been there over a year. I've already got a 205 gti (owned 18 years) and wasn't really looking got another car but looked like an opportunity not to be missed.

Struck a deal with owner and here it is

Anyhow, I've just refurbed rear beam and mounts, looking for front oem springs if anyone has any (in good nick) or knows best place? Pug want £93 each

Matt

Bonjour welcome another addition to team black rallye by far the best and fastest colour
with regards to front springs getting 5002 p7 second hand or cheap is rare the 5002 p9 for the 6 are more common i have a set on my rallye at the mo pushes the front up by an inch or so and so will be removing in the new year to replace with the rallye ones i purchased from pug it was after much serching the only way for myself there are many oe types that come in cheaper

Ok cheers, I have some second hand gti6 springs but heard they sat high. I've spotted some lesjofors for £32 each, also do the b4 front shocks make em sit higher too?

5002 p9 are gti6 with all extras springs as said they do make the rallye sit high

B4 s dont adjust the height much if st all

Have b4 with a set of eibach -30 s on they sit the same as with pug oe and b4 s

Don't know Tom, but there must be another black rallye close by. 2 lads walked past whilst I was cleaning it and asked if I'd bought it off some guy in holymoorside! my drivers seat has a small hole on the upper bolster on the fake leather, cloth is ok tho, can the vinyl stuff be repaired?

A chap called Tom lives in Holymoorside and has a black one, his mates got a black one with a seat I was trying to purchase (hence the question) and you've got a black un... That makes four Onyx Rallye's in Chezvegas by the looks of things LOL

Chesterfield would appear to be the Black Rallye capital of England Hmm

We should all have a meet up, I'll bring my white one too so it can feel like a minority Thumbs up

They have a faux leather sort of material to the sides and back - not cloth.
