I got me a project 6! That I want to save,...

I have been umming and arrring about selling the Astor and moving on for a bit now,..
but instead i've done a total 180 and Bought another,..

it's an R plate Diablo

it was recently on Ebay as a non runner I bought it off the Lad that Fixed it,..
don't think he truly lived for the 306? Dunno

non tapper good solid car no knocks or taps nice interior a few niggles bits missing here and there
but a shed load of Lacquer Peel,... i've wanted to learn how to paint so perfect project,..

it came with a spare ECU apparently to take it over 200bhp??? now it's my understanding that Cams are also required?
it does pull very well but to me just looks like an un molested 6?

it also had a ph3 key?
I don't know if this was a bid to have x2 keys but didn't realise the difference between the ph2 and ph3 keys?
i can't see it having anything to do with the ecu directly can it?

if any one knows anything about it would be good to get a bit of background on it!

and don't give me any of that Milk Float Poodle s**te either Laugh

the plan is a repaint in the Spring pick up the missing bits as and when,..
then maybe sell for the summer we'll see what happens between onw and then!

Got your masks coming soon too Chris and
I'm going to do some more work on them tonight!

Don't think this is the same one though the reason it was a non runner is because the self adjusting clutch cable wasn't properly fitted I'm sure you wouldn't have made that mistake!

The thing with that is Dave, it makes the cars which are available all the more rare - and demand a higher price, eventually. Smile Thumbs up

Question is what could you get that's better, bet it takes next to nothing to just revive it.
