I've finally got a driving car again Big grin (Big up carl chambers)
But the exhaust has seen better days.

Does anyone have any recommendations for one that won't make it too much louder but will give me a bit more raspy noise? And if it lets it pop a bit on the over run that's an added bonus.

I bought a second hand decat down pipe with stainless 2.5 full twin box made by Magnex for peougot sport ..89dbs at Combe with throttle bodies & it still gives some back pressure on a stnd internal 6 engine ..
My 6ft flames at times are the 8 injectors & how it's been mapped ...it sounds great but pops & Crackles & bangs at times ...if you like that sort of thing I don't ..
it's a great exhaust & paid £150 from manifold down ...and it seems to perform well now the Decat has been mapped out on a new DTA ecu

It was better all round with the Cat on with stnd ecu though ..
I also tried it with one box it was 107dbs crazy loud Thumbs down

If you running standard engine I would go for a 2.25" system. I had a decat, 2.25" straight through stainless middle section with scorpion back box on my old Astor and it's probably one of the best sounding exhausts I have tried and only made 89db at croft too.

This is what I have without the decat...for now.
It is good, very drony at 40mph but very silent at other speeds, and definitely sounds amazing when going for it.

Obviously not the best as it is right after a very tight hairpin so only getting to full chat further away but it's the only video I've got. That's without a decat but with a cone filter.

Sounds good. Not quite the noise I'm after though.

I've got a scorpion back box and magnet mid section on one of mine, raspy but booms like f**k at 70-80mph.

Best exhaust I've had was one of Miles systems, they sounds the bo***cks without being overly loud. It's sat in the loft waiting to go back on when I get five minutes, just hope my ears can hold out until then.
