So I've been nocking about with pugs for 20 years now and 18 of them have been in 306 gti6s / Rallyes

    The 'club' was created in 1996 Yes

    The earliest sales brochures mentioned 306gti6.com as a community where owners could share their interest in the marque. Admittedly it was very basic and looked nothing like the website/forum you see today. The forum section wasn't added until 2001.

    The club was originally created by a marketing director at Peugeot UK and later passed to Captain Ash in December 2002 when the 306 range was no longer current.

    306rallye.com was also created (more may remember that?) this was kept separate and later sold and became the rallye register which oddly focused mainly on the 106 version.
