23, bought Rallyes 1 and 2 at 20 then number 3 at 21. Only ever owned 306s although I'm not convinced that's a good thing!

On to something new next year though...

I'm 37 and got my Rallye when I was 36 (still only had it 6 months or so)

Interesting card history started with a 1.6 205 GTi, then a 205 1.9 GTi with hi compression engine on 45's which turned into a MI16 to save fuel and a 306 DTurbo for work. Then replaced by a R33 GTR and then a Pulsar GTI-R before 0 cars Sad

The Rallye is my first car in 3 years, wife thought I was getting a golf bless her

50 Shock 1st 306 and apart from my current hassle with my paintwork being fooked up by someone, I have to say I do love me Pug. What's not to like, goes well enough, stops well and goes round islands like it's on rails + I love the exhaust sound! I'm fortunate that this is my weekend/play car, just can't wait to get it back on the road now. Thumbs up

Turning 28 this month, had the Rallye since last year but had a Diablo '6 before that for about 6 months and prior to that I ran my beloved Black '6 from 2009 to 2011. And before that I had my first 306 my dturbo-s from 2005-2007.

Loved all of them and none have ever left me stranded.

39 years old and have owned my rallye for 7 years, although it's been off the road for the last 18 months Thumbs down
It's stripped and has paint lacquer peal on roof and boot (but is still very solid underneath).
Learnt to drive in a 1.0l 205 when it was new and have had 4-5 205s recently but the Rallye has been my only 306. The chavvy image put me off for years.
Have purchased many parts off the forum to build my ideal 306 (but 90% are still in the garage rather than on the car).
Just can't bear thinking about getting rid of the 306 as it is such a good car and I love(d) driving it.
Currently drive an e30 318is as a daily driver and work as a Mechanical Draughtsman for an Aerospace company (Cobham).

I'm 46 and my Rallye is the first non-Ford car in my life apart from a Calibra my ex-wife insisted on having. Always had nearly new cars too so the 16 year old Pug has been something of a shock to the system, but so far a good one!

It makes me smile more than it makes me sad, it seems there is always something that i need to do to make it better, but in all honesty that is usually just me being picky.

The car was bought as a means to an end. I wanted something cheap and fun after totalling my last Ford at the Ring, and so far I made the right choice. Vive la Pug!

Why does everyone in this part of the world call roundabouts islands?!

Caused me no end of grief when I wanted to take my gf for a date out to a nice island spot...

I'm 33, owned my GTI-6 since 2005. Fell in love with it early on and still enjoy it on a country road pursuit until this day in all honesty.

The main reason I've stuck with it this long really has been cost. Its stopped depreciating and owes me nothing. I do all the repairs and maintenance so its cheap motoring. I've learnt so much over the years working on it and this forum has been invaluable. So grateful for all the assistance and help from members past and present.

I'm a technician in the oil and gas industry. I build, test and commission subsea hydraulic control systems.

Bought my GTi6 2 years ago, waited and waited to find anything that wasn't black, then in the end went and bought a black one.
Has been brilliant fun, not very fast but performance, handling and comfort are a good match. Always preferred French cars, and this is my second 306, first was a mint 93 XT.

45 years young and an electronic engineer, used to repair and maintain scientific and medical equipment, now fixing and building audio equipment, until i get my dream job.
