What I mean is, could one assemble all the 6 axle parts into, say, a beam tube from a lower model?
Thanks.

yeah, insofar as they can all be used regardless of source (zx xsara 306) though part number did vary, and colour from sport models to base model, yellow vs black.specific difference I think there isn't much, maybe a little extra diameter on the centre tube possibly. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

welshpug! wrote: specific difference I think there isn't much, maybe a little extra diameter on the centre tube possibly. Right then, I picked up a NOS beam tube. The part number is 514887. Part number for GTI 6 beam is 514889 I measured the diameter of the tubes and the difference was about 0.6mm. (new one smaller) This may possibly be accounted for by the surface rust on my old tube. Oh, and this one is black instead of yellow, (for now). Besides that, they look identical. ________________________________________ Make tea, not war.If it ain't broke......fix it until it is. |

Mark,Any chance you could tell me (by pm if you want) how much you paid for the tube? Oddly the non sport tube was more expensive from Peugeot by £32 according to service box! ________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye .... On going OEM spec restoChina Blue GTi6 ....
