Sounds like it'll be a pain and a fair amount of cash!

no pain, just a bit of cash, not as expensive as some can be, mike knows his stuff, makes most/all of Sandys manifolds, lots of world class hotrod chassis work, rally fab etc.

check his fb.

I'll get something sorted eventually. Going to get it remapped with the standard manifold for now and see what the difference is. I'll investigate getting Mike to do a manifold if needed.

It's slightly different to my Maniflow but basically the same so not sure it'd fit. I asked Dave from Satchel if there are 4-2-1s that fit but haven't had a response yet.

I've gone with the Satchshift, partly as I had already made the hole, and partly as I can afford to lose a bit of power if that happens with the standard manifold.

Think I'll go with the satchshift and try it out see if anything can be done to make them work together if not will just have to be standard manifold. Cheers

Satchshift does feel awesome. Would be interesting if there was a 4-2-1 that would fit but not sure if there's enough space.

Not going to be cheap though Whistle

WP suggested Mike earlier in this thread. I'm not sure how much performance is gained for what is probably a fair chunk of money?

Yup, I agree. The Maniflow 4-2-1 was nice as it was fairly inexpensive but a custom one for minor gains just isn't worth it. I'll see how the car dynos with the standard manifold and make a decision then.

You'd be surprised about the amount of people that try to race me on a trackday. Had one guy lunge me going in to a corner.

I was already slightly over-powered for my class so losing a few horsepower isn't the end of the world as it means I don't have to run ballast.

depends on the engine spec, you can pick up lots of mid range grunt with a well designed manifold.
