Huuuuge update...

The GTI-6 brakes I picked up were a little seized, managed to free up the pistons, cleaned up the sliders and gave them a lick of paint to smarten them up. Had braided lines with them so they will be used.

The engine mount I made got powder coated, handy to have a powder coating company on our business park!

Also picked up hardened BBM mounts the other day locally so tomorrow should see the engine back in for the last time.

I have been pretty busy with work.. I'm quite into running these days too, often running 4-5 times a week, various 10k races, half marathon next weekend, bristol-bath full marathon in October etc.

I will get around to getting some good progress on the car soonish, its tucked in the corner of the workshop at the moment with a car cover on it mainly because were full up with customers/stock machines.

Still head scratching with Petes car, think we have both lost a bit of interest in it! But we will get to the bottom of it soon no doubt.

That mount doesn't look strong enough to me Ash. You might want to rethink it.
