I'm speaking to Simon James who had the last batch made about getting some more done. Whose interested as I need numbers, I'm not sure on price, but won't be massive. Just estimated numbers so I can't get some made up. Once I know a figure I can give a price.

If Simon can't do them I'll look if a local fabricator can rustle some up

Well he said last time he made 6 but if I can get 5 or 6 people interested I'll get 10 made. It'll make them cheaper and there's bound to be people who miss the thread and come along a week later going "ah gutted I would have had one"

Pug heaven was correct in that the last time they were £80 plus postage. These should come in at around that price

I have a mate of mine who does this sort of thing, he's done loads of work for the Opel Manta owners club and various other clubs making all sorts of stuff in stainless - kick panels, radiator covers, wiper motor covers etc, he can even engrave these with logo's if required, his work is top notch! If anyone has a spare shield i could have, i can always drop him the pattern and ask him how much??

To be honest, i'm not far off taking the engine/box out of the Rallye to repaint and sort the engine bay out, and i'd love a nice stainless job with a Pug logo of some description on there. I'll put a wanted add up then and see if any one can help us out.

Depends on the thickness I guess ? Pretty sure it's not hot enough to melt steel back there ?

Both Ollie and myself have caused standard ones to set on fire. Just thought galvanised steel may not be the best just thought the galv may cause bad reaction.
