Ordered my 16x7 et15 108 Pr1.2s off Rimstock because been told by 3 people they just miss Ashs 330 brakes.?....but today I've received a Email saying 4weeks from now ...that's 6wks manufacturing.Thumbs down .!

Bit to close to FCS at Coombe seeing I've paid for 3hour open pit lane for my liking ...got new Dunlops ready to fit them.!
Don't want to use 17 Mo5s as TIRs fitted & don't want to buy anymore Tyres !!!

May cancel pr1.2s now & look for second hand set Thumbs up
Or if I could find Mo5s in 16s....even better...

Wondering about 16" Mo5s direct fit ....can't find any about ????
Rang them direct ...no joy ...not making wheels at mo only old stock ?

Big Question is ....has anybody seen or know someone who has tried Mo5s 16s on 330 Ashs brakes ?
It appears everything's been tried on here Thumbs up .

I had a look & Mo5s 17s against Pro1.2 17s are same inside Dia ....
So I guess 16s would be the same ???

Another Problem is finding Direct fit Mo5s in 16s ???
Colour not a problem Thumbs up

They aren't next day if you want the right centrebore machined into them so you can loose those crappy plastic spigot rings. I think my 17s took about a fortnight to arrive after ordering which was quicker than they quoted.

Has any body tried alloy spigot rings, instead of plastic? Plenty of places that make them to any size. Would they be a better alternative, as they wouldn't have the chance of melting under heavy race use?

Could be an idea if so to just buy the normal ones off ebay or wherever, with next day delivery, and then get the rings to match.

I would also be interested if anyone has found a decent supplier for alloy spigot rings. We run 16" 1.2s on the race car and although we've have no issues with the plastic ones, I would be happier changing to metal if a set are reasonably priced.

it was only the factory that closed down, the brand itself is a separate company.

The Federals will be fine for the trackdays. We found they did lose a bit of grip at the end of the 45 minute race but otherwise were ok, especially for the price! Interested to see how much extra grip the Dunlops have.

EDIT: Just ordered a set of Dunlops to go on one of the sets of tyres so do a back to back with the Federals next time we are on track

Our local garage is having a nightmare trying to fit the Dunlops, can't get them to pop out on to the rim. Going to Brands this weekend to see if there's a tyre van there that can fit them.

What Dunlops Dzo3gs ?.....pain in the ass just to get on ....they put loads & loads of tyre lube/paste on tyre & rim & blew them up to 50psi temp & let them back to 29psi after ...it worked Thumbs up

He did swear loads on each tyre ...so say because of sidewall being so ridged Whistle
