So some shiney bits have started turning up this week Cool just need to make some room so I can make a start on fitting bits and pulling the old engine out ready for the new one turning up.

Things to fit:

Mocal 13row oil cooler
BakerBM group N mounts
BakerBM group A torque bush
Full braided brake lines
Hydraulic handbrake with AP Racing leaver bias valve
ATE Super blue racing brake fluid
Pugsport alloy axle mounts
Pugsport uprated gear linkages
Aero catch bonnet pins
Cammed engine with mapped ecu -195bhp hopefully
Alloy crank pully
Lightened & balanced Flywheel
Magnex group n exhaust
Decat
F1 style mirrors

And if I have time to pick them up:
Cobra imola bucket seats
OMP upper strut brace
Poly carb windows (maybe)

All this to be done before knockhill on 26th january so its going to be a busy next couple of weeks for my by the look of if

Oh and a couple of the very nice seats that came in the car Whistle

Finally made a start stripping the front end this weekend. Not alot done but at least I have started LOL
Picked up a set of brembos yesterday as well so decided to paint them up today. Decided against the same old red and went for a nice bright yellow what goes nice with the 6 badges on the doors.

Little update. Yesterday I made a start on stripping my spare axle ready to rub down and paint. Also bought the BTCC inlet spoox had for sale. Gpt a nice little discount on it so cant complain. The inlet arrived today and also managed to source a plenum for it as well Cool its not a carbon one but it will do to get it up and running. Sorted most of my bits out tonight while I was bored but still trying to hunt down a couple other BTCC parts and info.
Still waiting to hear back from C_J_M to see when my engine will be here and hopefully collecting an ex BTCC maniflow manifold with high flow cat off pete_rallye.

plenum I have found for the time being

Do I leave the plenum how it is for the race look or do I tidy it up and paint it black or yellow maybe?

Paint it Yes Silver or black though.

What's the plan with the engine then? What are you hoping to achieve with all these bits?

Hopeing to see just over 200bhp with a new map. As for engine I really fancy that 92mm crank DCC has for sale and building up a 2.2 engine but that would have to be built up over time as pistons and rods alone will cost around £1400. So I think I would have to budget around £2500 for a good spec engine.

As for the plenum I was thinking of going yellow to match my brakes, phase 1 6 badges and maybe do the block yellow too Cool

Laugh my ass off it was till 3rd January when the timing belt snapped! And I can imagine has bent all the valves ect... picked up a phase 3 spoiler, just need to fit it and got some half leather XSI seats to go in too.

Lol maybe not so strong then. It had the spoiler but had standard interior, I put on the crystal headlights instead of the broken morrets that were on there and changed the awful bent 17"wheels for some more 17's Unsure

Interested to see what the inlet turns out like looks a nice alternative to the norm

Who was the one who cut the rear arch lip? There is a bit of paint flaked off from having the inner lip chopped off.
I was going to go for jenveys then seen this and thought f**k it! Its different and av not seen anyone else with this so hopefully be a 1 off. Something different for people to look at other than a charger. Fingers crossed it works well with the cammed engine I have bought off cjm
