MAKE: Renault

MODEL: Renaultsport Clio 172 Cup

ENGINE: 2.0 16v

MILEAGE: 72,500

MOT: Sept 2014

TAX: Jan 2014

YEAR/REG: 2003

COLOR: Modial Blue

DESCRIPTION:
Totally standard 172 Cup
Hardly any history with the vehicle, but reciept for cambelt done in January 2012.

Car drives very well and pulls hard through all the gears.
Four new tyres.
Interior in very good condition.

The lower dog mount occasionally knocks when changing gear quickly in high Rpm. A new mount will sort that cheaply.

The bonnet was sat on so could do with replacing, slight dents and stonechips up close.
The odd dink and tiny dent from car parks.

Great car all around.

Call or Pm for more info,

£2100 ono

I already have a new Seat Ibiza FR as a daily so this and my S1 aren't needed. This was bought by myself and my flatmate a while back to use when we are both here.

It's only the 1.2 FR Tsi. Very cheap to run but not that quick. A Saxo Vts would probably have it in a straight line. However the handling is brilliant, it has a electronic locking differential which is amazing in this weather and round corners.

Seem to end up looking at this far too often... My Misses needs a new car, and she loves Clio's!

The biggest issue for me is the 4 ditch finders that need replacing, possibly this de-phaser pulleys I hear so much issues of, and ultimately the price...

On these, ideally, the de-phaser pulley should be done at the same time as the cambelt.
Pretty good cars otherwise.

Far too much considering what it may need doing and the lack of any history!

Yeah it's wise for the sake of £150 to bung a dephaser pulley on even if it's not knocking.

I had my belt done nearly 5 years ago and a year later it started getting noisey. In hindsight I wished I'd had it changed at the same time. In the 4 years since it's not imploded or anything - it just knocks slightly.
