Mains are 60mm on all xu cranks, it is the rod width which differs Smile

Hmm, i'm thinking about this too now, i have RFY rods and many sets of RFS pistons, are RFY&RFS gudgeon pins/small ends the same diameter?

not so sure, the problem you'll have with other pistons is the placing of the grudgeon pin at height of piston - if it is too low along piston height, the piston may protrude from block!

The gti6 rod bearings are 24mm where as this uses 26mm red ends. I would love this just cant pull myself to spend £3k+ on an engine LOL

So this would be more reliable than the standard rods, bigger wider bearing has got to be better than a skinnier one??
