Mains are 60mm on all xu cranks, it is the rod width which differs ________________________________________ 205 GTIXsara HDI |

not so sure, the problem you'll have with other pistons is the placing of the grudgeon pin at height of piston - if it is too low along piston height, the piston may protrude from block!________________________________________ 205 GTIXsara HDI |

The gti6 rod bearings are 24mm where as this uses 26mm red ends. I would love this just cant pull myself to spend £3k+ on an engine ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

So this would be more reliable than the standard rods, bigger wider bearing has got to be better than a skinnier one??________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

It helps to spread the force over a greater area, so in theory, yes.________________________________________ 205 GTIXsara HDI |
