I would also like a Tailgate & Bonnet Ross !!!
Inner & outer Skin / Phase 2...I live close to Fibrewerx & can happily drop any spare Tailgate or bonnet round to him for a pattern .!!!
Got phase 2 & 3 spares for taking Moulds...
Ideally de-badged Bonnet ...But happy to go with the majority ...Hopefully that's no Badge ...

How about everyone that wants a ph3 bonnet doing club together
To buy one just has to be mint without any dings,..
Then for those of us that want a de-badged version then club together again to have
The same bonnet de-badged once the badged mold has been made?

no i got mine, overall it's very nice, i had to drill the holes out for the mounting eyes though and i've got a few spots under the lacquer so might try sanding it lightly. cheers for organising ross!

Surely we shouldn't have to do any sanding or re lacquering on a freshly made item, shouldn't that be done before its sent out? !

it's probably only because where fussy fekers,.. but it does have a slight grainy feel to it, it looks spot on,..
i am however concerned about the mounting holes!,...
i don't think there's a rite lot between the thread and the size of the head,.. the last thing you want is it popping off and sitting on that lovely hot Exhaust manifold! Shock
the bottom of the holes are'nt flush so not sure if this will be an issue when it comes to tightening them up you also don't want it splitting because it's not being tightened against a flat surface!,..

I guess we'll see what happens!
how well did the 1st one fit?

mine fitted fine, i just used washers on the bolts and adjusted the holes with a small file to get it sitting perfect. think the holes are 6mm. mine was the first one.

think my holes were a bit squarer than yours though, more of a flat bottom. you should be ok as it doesn't really need to be that tight.

Hmm it's just remembering months down the line to only gently nip it up

I might be able to reinforce mine if need be!
I'll try get it put on tomorrow and show my findings but I'd have thought that having those bits flattened off on ours would be fairly important the design to fit with those bolts to a flattened mount?

    Ouu! Shiny Manifold!
won't stay like that for long!
    Trust me! LOL

I too am a bit concerned about these not fitting properly. I don't buy something expecting to have to adjust the holes just to get it to fit right. I also second the fact that there should be no need for sanding and re lacquering.

I thought we got a good price because of a group buy not because we're buying poorly made products.
