Did whoever who built the beam fit the arb? As my thoughts are that, apart from not setting the height to suit the thicker torsion bars, the splines and end caps may not of been lined up when that was fitted.

This can cause the car to sit higher on one side as the trailing arm has been forced up/down to get the 8mm bolt in

Make that 300mm, which means that it was lowered -30mm on standard bars, therefore it was a simple case of the lack of sag not being taken into account!

Im measuring the sill heights where you say Mei and just double checked and they haven't changed.

I hadn't considered that Jord! But everything was done at the same time.

322mm between shocker mounts using std 20mm bars would give approx 30mm drop

316mm between shocker mounts using vts 21mm bars would give approx 30mm drop

So that's why I said, a distance of approx 310mm between the shocker mounts using your larger bars should be pretty much bang on.

At least with coilovers on the front, you can fine tune the rake

surely whoever built the beam for you, would be willing to re-adjust it to how you want it?

I shall let you know, if I get this cage I'm sure I'll need some assistance with the dash removal. I may well get it flocked whilst it is out aswell then?

The driveway does not look flat.
It needs to be totally flat to get accurate measurements.
10-15 mm of rake for standard setup.

To save for a new thread im wondering if these are likely to have the damping rates required to control the rear :http://www.peterlloydrallying.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=130&product_id=890 ? With regards to the front im going to get some 9 inch 325-350 springs as the fronts keep coilbinding and the car tripods massively.
