At 10.8:1 for a well designed 16 valve head, it's not particularly high compression. My 8 valve TU is running 10.4:1 and will run on 95 if need be (although I tend to run super to give me a bit of margin)

Funny you say that I have the exact same thing! Topped up a week ago today done 80 miles and its used half a tank... It's not just my car either, had the ST topped up last week too and it does the same thing in that! Thumbs down

Well, I can honestly say I've run two tanks of this new stuff through the bike and the difference is quite amazing to be fair. It seems to be crisper on the throttle, the acceleration seems to be nicer and the cold start is quicker to catch as well too. Yes

I'm very happy with it.

Maybe it's a bad batch? I've always found V Power good but last week I put my first Nirto + in and instantly found it worse.

I'm not sure yet. I've put in about £50 worth in the supercharged car now and from the moment I filled up it was spluttering and wouldn't idle properly. Ran like a sack of s**te. Since then it's been ok but can't say I've noticed much of a difference from normal vpower at all. Going on a rolling road next sun don't want s**t fuel in there when I do that..... Bring back old Vpower!

I filled up the stihlsaw with this v power nitro stuff last week and the difference is amazing it had me rolling round the garden hanging on like I was on a raging bull fairground ride, I only wanted to cut into 3" of concrete and it just powered right down until I hit a coal seam, I just couldn't stop or
Even control it. I now have piles of coal on the garden that was thrown up in the fiasco if anybody wants it for there fire, it's not smokeless though as its virgin coal straight from the seam

Ive been using this Nitro+ in our Cooper S JCW and im not sure on the difference in power. It gives me peace of mind knowing that im using a 'better' grade fuel tbh. Also, i think you would notice more difference if your engine was having a good or bad day reguardless of wht fuel your using.
