Good point actually, encouraged to reduce emissions.

Right i have my 6 sorned and has a gallon of old stuff put in this week, ill try and take it to my local rollers, then do it after with just this new stuff and then we will see. I shall post results here, may take some time though, say a month or two. I shall try and do both tests on the same sort if temps and conditions etc.

Just sounds like my car running on normal petrol with its flashlube kit making it more economical etc (apparently), mainly keeps the valves from buring out on gas but it drops through on petrol too so must be good stuff

Yeah, cars with old rubber and steel lines, not cars like the 306 with plastic lines and modern materials...

You sound like the type that believes cams are safe in a .30+ skimmed head wuth stock cams and gasket LOL

Don't leave it sat in the tank for too long. Fuel degrades naturally so if you leave it too long it won't be a fair comparison.

Yes i had thought of that, it may make a little difference but if the new is quite a lot more then ill be happy with that. Iv had fuel in my gti for 4 years and used it in my other car and all was fine ran like usual, it wont be too long till i test it anyways all being well.

So the published list of cars suitable and unsuitable was bulls**t and the XU engines where in the unsuitable list for a laugh?

You sound like the type that sits on forums 24/7 scavenging useful information but then you're a sarcastic, antagonistic nonce when passing on such information LOL

From one comment, you've decided I'm waging a crusade against bio fuels? *yawns*

If you follow the list, You shouldnt be putting Tesco Momentum in as "All XU engines"
Were a no no.

I imagine its just the rubber lines in the engine bay though?

Here's one I found quickly, but I originally read it in Practical Classics or something

"Peugeot Citroën:
All Peugeot and Citroën cars with petrol engines are E10 (EN228) compatible since 1st January 2000."

Chances are they'll be okay, but it only states the cars which comply with the E10, so anything before, I'd think can be looked at as a query

In Japan i think 99 ron is standard iirc? Or is it 98

The US use the same as us 95 standard/ 97 premium. They just use a system called Knock Index rather than RON, so the figures always appear lowerThumbs up

Just seen this in a Shell garage in Peterborough when I filled up the van, so it seems it has already taken over from V-Power.

I look forward to giving it a try on the next fill up...Yes

Been using this for the last 2 weeks, without changing my driving style. Seems to have given me more MPG...

Mileage achieved before yellow light came on.
Normal unleaded half a tank - 190 miles
V power - 221 miles

Its 99 ron. I was reading a leaflet on it the other day when i was waiting in a shell station because my fuel card was declined.
I hope the pump hoses are leather like in the photos. Everyone knows leather makes everything seem classy.

I used V-Power and Tesco Momentum, both are E5 fuels.

I thought 306's were for 97 anyway, so have always used super
