How did you do that weird X-ray thing in your engine? |

Back on track then..... Lol (as much as I love a good stan slagging thread) Well I'm taking my low boost 6 up the strip in mid march so will find out what she does then. But yes I don't expect a lot to be honest considering the gearing though it does eat through the first 2. Still got a standard diff currently so traction won't be great.... Car will be stripped to circa 1100-1150kg by then and has lightened flywheel and crank pulley. If I get sub 14 I'll be happy. ________________________________________ Black power baby! owain wrote: stan_306gti6 wrote: If I was doing the quarter mile all the time in mine Right, let's do some maths. Stan rolls his car six feet forwards then back once a week because that's what owning a car is all about. So that's twelve feet. 5280 feet in a mile, so 1320 in a 1/4 mile. That's 110 iterations of Stan's "weekly hoon". Therefore Stan's 1/4 mile time is two years and six weeks. Add that one to your chart. Thats all very good but he would wear out the carpet that hes had fitted ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Wouldn't call it dull but yes straight line driving is for tossers. It's all about the twistes . But it's something ive never done before and am intreagued as to how quick my stripped supercharged 6 will do 1/4 mile. As well as having seen the look on a supra drivers face when he couldn't pull away from me and I slowly crept past on the way to silverstone last year it's a great feeling surprising people haha!________________________________________ Black power baby!
