Well fitted the new brakes, KWs , and had a go at testfitting the 18s... to bad my car is raked like a mofo (knew that, will get this sorted asap as it drives)

new 330mm discs

Wheel on

Pushed the car outdoors, to wash the dust of and had a look in daytime

Put the headlights in for some picwhoring

Perfect ride height and the 18mm spacers are perfect!!!!

Can you say FLUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It think its testament to the wheels that it doesnt look gash.
But alk i think is hpw much more perfect they would be with 17"s of the same wheel.
The thing for me is the width of the sidewall.
I assume roads must be good over there?

Big wheels always make the shape of the arches look screwed up to me, especially when low. That would look 10x better on the same wheels in 16"

Doesn't look as bad as it could, but I agree that they are too big.
IMO the rear looks worse that the front with larger wheels

As told before the rear is standard height, so it looks strange now
I dont want my car on 15s or 16s , with 420 - 450 bhp the wheels would be spinning still at 100 mph 😁

Probably be even worse with that low profile, stretched tyre on.

Doesn't look as bad as some I've seen, but still too big for the proportions on the 306 IMO.

17's are about right IMO, when accommodating bigger brakes etc.

Still each to their own, if you like it then crack on!

Dont understand why you think a 18" wheel will have less wheel spin?

As said I think the wheels lessen the poor look but they still look a bit big to me. But tbh it's nice to see something different to cyclones, pro race 1.2's etc etc.

I like what you're doing with the car though, nice and different but not in your face Thumbs up

Im really not into all this big wheel thing that many car owners seem to have these days, i prefer strong wheels that are in proportion to the size of the car else to me they look odd. They do have to look good though, wheels do make the car and is the most important aspect in the look of a car overall imo.

Your black six does look good overall though, just alloys are too big for it imo. With any car, a dark car looks better with light coloured wheels and vice versa with light coloured cars looking better with dark wheel colours.

I bet the ride in that is very harsh,... Crazy

I used to run theses which are 17"

an that was harsh enough dropped to 16" now much better and just about tolerant of our ohh so wonderful roads,.. but each to their own,.. Thumbs up

but if your happy then who cares what anyone else thinks,.. it only matters when it comes to sell it what people may think LOL
