The tire choice isnt going to help wheelspin though. T1R's are gash.

If they are that light, traction is still going to be an issue with those tyres. ________________________________________ |

Not a fan of big wheels, 16's are the limit for these cars and as someone has mentioned, I'm not a big fan of the Citroen DS style rear wheels hidden in the arches look________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |

If you can't afford decent tyres in the correct size, then why go for such big wheels? |

Which leaves the question, what reason are you having 18's other than looks? You could put the extra cash from those tyres towards better handling or something more useful. It sounds like they give more dissadvantages than advantages with the car and driving and costs etc. ________________________________________ Pug fee`ver,Pick a Bogey, buy a Pug. At least the rolling circumference is right at less than 1% different from stock size. But wouldn't those wheels be really heavy? ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

Its just a shame the money going into the suspension and engine etc etc.Than then using mid range at best tyres. A car like this deserves (read:needs) Very good tyres to get the most of out it. And very good tyres t1rs are not. I just did a search on Camskill and blackcircles and neither stocked that size and tbh i can see why, Its a weird size of tyre, low profile but pretty thin.... Check the choice of tyre in 17 and 16 inch though and its a no brainer. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |
