The wife's neck actually hurt after all the brutal accelerating and braking. And if you remember, she reckoned she nearly s**t herself... LOL

Woehahhaa @ that first pic, that looks like s**t... the other one with the 18s peugeot wheels on doesnt quite look that bad,the wheels looks big because of the spokes run al the way up to the outer rimedge.

Trust met ill proof 18" can look the tits on a 306, just get a nice wheel and a good drop..

And 18s? heavy? dont think so, i think my 18s weigh less then the most 15 inch wheels Wink

Any wheel that size on a 306 combined with British roads will be f**cked within a week. Just my opinion of course

Crikey wheels worth more than the car! Can vouch for those wheels had a set on my impreza very lightweight don't think the offset will be right for a gti6 though!

The issue is just the sheer SIZE of the things.
225/30/18 is the closest too 195/55/15 for overall diameter, comes in at 10mm under size so barely any speedo difference.
The ride on those would be gross though.

Swiftyboy, you dont know what your talking about dude...

205/35/18 Toyos, and speedo going abit out? uhmm with 420+ bhp i dont give a @#%$@#% about the speedo reading 2% of or not.

TE37s are on of the lightest wheels on the planet, and forged, Halfords rims and a pothole and your f**ked... these are forged racewheels... not the quite same cup of tea..

Watch my projecttopic, and in a good month youll see what i mean that these 18s will look TITS under a 306, positive thing on the TE37s is that the lip doenst extend al the way to the end of the rim.....

7.7 kg for the Porsche offset wheel, so probably nearer 8 for a pug offset.

I'll stick to my cheap 4.7 kg wheel thanks Big grin

I can't see it handling as
Good with those great big bloody things on there, will be a awful ride that's for sure, wouldn't last a
Week in england before at least one of them is square with a big hole
    And bulges in the tyre
that project of yours looks epic by the way, I'm very interested in hearing more about your new clutch, I think I need 1 of those in mine.

Not forgetting the speed ratio being affected by the bigger wheels.

tbf that was the way most cars were back then (first put the 18s on in 2004) on 16s now as tyres are cheaper and the car is now my runabout
