I think 17's look good...But there is not much clearance anywhere once you've lowered it. Solid beam mounts & roller bearing wishbone bushes are a must. TBH 18's would just be plain stupid... ________________________________________ Get used to seeing the yellow one !!!Team 330™ Team "no front end or engine" Team "LIMITED EDITION" I live for the 306 sticker Team 0-60 in 6.44 & standing qtr in 14.808 @ 94.55mph all with std engine 203bhp Corolla T-Sport daily driver stealthier than Kwai Chang Caine |

Even 17s are too big, they look ridiculous. Only reason I've got them is to clear the 330s. I saw a 306 in a bodyshop once,The whole car was being stretched width ways at the bottom by nearly 4 inches to fit some rediculously large 20" range rover wheels or something One of them projects that never got finished I think ________________________________________ "winners come and go but legends never die..." autorite-sport.co.uk |

What is it with the trend of having big wheels, any bigger than 16 look s**t imo, for me its 15's all the way. I know wheels make a car and people may want them to stand out but too big a wheel stands out too much which looks odd.________________________________________ Pug fee`ver,Pick a Bogey, buy a Pug. It's form over substance, just going too far on a 306. With the number of potholes around at the moment and with 25 or 30 profile tyres they would be very easy to damage with no sidewall to absorb impacts. Would also handle worse, speedo miles out, slower acceleration, rubbing, faster rusting due to removed arch liners etc. And it really does look try-hard - a bit like people who have those facial hair tufts under their bottom lip. You think it's really cool, but 99 out of 100 people are looking at you and thinking "tw@t". EDIT: I see you're from Holland, actually I understand those facial hair tufts are considered cool over there so disregard my comparison. And your roads probably don't have potholes either. If you really want 18s, get a car that looks OK with them on, not a cheap French grocery-getter hatchback from the decade before last. ...although that blue 4-door actually looks OK. I'd better start growing one of those tufts then. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

This And all that money youve spent creating a car with many very expensive (and good components) Goes to waste when you put massive wheels on that completely ruin the ride. 17 is the absolute maximum imo and even that isnt desirable... ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |
