Sigh i give up. Its obvious you have been skirting around it but you are too pussy to actually say what you are thinking.Seriously i have no problem with you but its just getting a bit silly now. Chances are its some s**tty homebrew anyway. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

eliotrw wrote: well you are though arent you lets be honest. To say where all the rr results for the high boost cars is doing just that. Dont play dumb, you are aware that 90%+ of the rotrexed supercharged gti6s have been most likely done by lynx and you are constantly trying to s**t stir or cause contoversy about it like you have some kind of chip on your shoulder. Fact is we know f**k all about any of these ones abroad that you are speaking about other than if they are running 2.5 bar of fuel pressure (which is less than a standard car) then they are clearly nothing to do with lynx as high boost use 4 bar pressure regulators and standard and low boost use 3 bar. No one on this forum gives a s**t about a s**tty spoox kit so lets keep to facts instead of speculation and chinese whispers. You gotta be joking me? im constantly trying to s**t stir?, lol... you should lay of the crack!!!!!!!! Now tell me where did you hear me mention Lynx, i could care less , im just telling what im hearing.. i didnt hear what kit it was |

Never mind i cant be arsed. Maybe its all lost in translation but from my side i think it looks that way.Like i said, its more than likely a s**tty homebrew one or one from spoox. They seem to be hell bent on ripping of everything Lynx make and even had the cheek of ordering one of him before putting their own to market iirc! ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

The superhighboost uses a 5 bar fuel pressure regulator. I don't want to s**t stir and to be fair i couldn't give a stuff if takedowns makes more power than a superhighboost. Rich is not an idiot and that is why there were so few failures with the conversions. how many of them are there must be about 140 odd kits. Let's stop this now because it is quite daft. Takedown good luck with your car I'm sure it'll be an absolute animal as are the superhighboost and indeed the high boost cars. when we get a chance to rolling road our cars I'm suRe that Ollie and i will not be disappointed. ________________________________________ Super high boost Completed, destroyer of gearboxes and 160mph club |

Im sure there is. I have seen quite a few map readouts on high boosts. I had a quick look earlier but couldnt see any.The lows always seem to make the power though. The odd one makes a 260-270 ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

thx for the pm, were clear now mateIm also not implying that a stock S16/GTi engine is bullet/turboproof with only a sandwichplate, but they actually take it really good and do also silly power outputs on "stock" engine Previous owner of my car shaved a few mm of the crown of the pistons to get to 8:0 comprratio, this can work out good, it did work out good on the Subaru turbo, now it gets to cope with a real turbo, so well just have to see how things will come.,it also could be not a good thing, as it kinda weakens the pistons a bit. As for the turbo/SC discussion, there are a lot of turbo Peugeots here in europe, holland, france etc, and very little SCed ones, the reason i know of one who has build an Eaton on his peug. And Marco whos got a sc kit |

Sounds stupid but bigger turbo quite often safer. you'll be fine if Dp say its safe as i said the other day Gt30 with 1.7bar in my opinion should give you 475bhp. anywhere near that is. good result. ________________________________________ Super high boost Completed, destroyer of gearboxes and 160mph club |

Thats correct! i dont think i have aggreed with Pieter to go that far, i just said to him give me a nice figure over 400BHP and hold the torque a bit on around 450nm instead of going into the high 480+ torque. But the more im thinking about it, ill be happy with anything to be honest, just to drive it this summer for a bit Everything didnt go as planned with this whole project so i wouldnt be amazed if the damn thing blows up, great change if that happens without me ever haven driven it with this setup , i will end up breaking it.... wich would be a great chance for some guys on the forum, lol |

Do these other Pugs with high power on stock pistons/rods ever get used for 20+ mins on a race track (i.e. above 5k rpm for that length of time)?________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Marco time for us to know your updates man 106 gti with 466 did Time attack and trackdays, still going strong for over 3 years now, and revlining like crazy 465 of Eric , has seen a LOT OF ABUSE. I dont have a trackcar since i have nothing with trackdayracing, if i would be trackdaying i wouldnt have bought a peugeot, but something with RWD. This is just the f**karound car , blow the doors of some Porsches, do some nice blasting on backroads and let some steam go, and im certainly not daily drive it, i did that with my 2 m5s and the power gets boring if you drive if day after day. |

When i have a funcar, i want nice parts, and that it looks nice and drives nice. It was a shock to all of my friends i bought an old French hothatch as a projectcar, they all know what nice newer cars i used to drive before i got to the GREAT IDEA of buying this, lol Im just getting a lot of joy of buying stuff, looking for stuff, doing some styling things to the car, and i think thats a great part of doing a project. |

Yeah, i was just intrigued how the internals would hold up if they are getting abuse constantly for 20 mins at a time, it's quite a different kettle of fish thrashing through the gears a few times on the streets to going at it non stop lap after lap on a race track.________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |
