Ssssssssssst dont let the wife hear it Wink

Time to undo birds**t part XXXXXIIVIVIVIVI

Ordered a licenseplatesticker some time ago, nice bit of weightsaving, hahaha

Not sure if ill be keeping it on, cause the fines are very high here in Holland messing around with your licensplate, the plate is 2 cm smaller in width.

Sorted out the intercoolerpipes, plastidipped them black, looks a lot better, will be doing the clamps as well next weekend to completely black things out.

+ i need to find a nice plate of aluminium to make up some sort of plate that goes underneath the frontbumper, its a little to open now.
And im not sure if i should fit the inner wheelarches again.

Note frontend is still completely loose and not bolted yet... hence the nice big gaps everywhereBig grin

Marvin came over, and had a look at the reverse problem.. car wouldnt be pushed out of the barn, and problem is the frontcalipers, the small pins where the brakepads rest, touch the disc.. so thats needs sorting.

Reverse is still quite bad, but maybe its the clutch thats just to bitey.. when you really reverse very slow, its oke.. need to sort that out later.

Put the cage in, still needs some fluor orange paint here and there, but well do that later... when we get back from VVT Motorsport

Some more quick pics, engine bay almost finished , some small tidying up to do, fit the aux belt (custom) then its installing/securing the front/headlights/bumper etc,

Uhmm got Fluor?

Call it gay or cool.. but i like to keep my suede steeringwheel nice and clean, and im speaking from experience that without gloves it wont be nice very long, so i bought a pair of Sparco Land FIAA approved racing gloves..

Feels quite nice actually, nice grippy on the steeringwheel

Small clip i made last week, cage not fitted etc..

Well... busy day today... yesterday Marvin came along and we made the car ready for transport to VVT today.

Did some testing, and the reverse still is not right, maybe this gets better when the car is mapped properly cause its running like a pig now.
But ive got a strange feeling this wont be easy to fix, maybe well have to drop the box and have a look after the car is mapped.
Marv doing some testing.

Car loaded on the ambulance.... looking pretty nice

Although its only a 10km highwaydrive to VVT Motorsport, it already turned a lot of head of passing cars Wink

Up in the air, Dakar style...

Since i got the exhaust from the ZX Turbo, which i thought and looked like it was a straightfit on the 6... uhmm it didnt, so we had to do some minor adjustements.

Fitted!.. only problem we had was the 100mm titanium piece couldnt be welded to the exhaust.... strange stuff that titanium Wink
So the endpiece is now a 3" just like the rest of the exhaust/downpipe and it looks oke.

Next up was rearbeamlowering, and it was a b**ch!

Torsionbars decided to go nowhere and since i was on a tight timeschedule, we tried the notch methode, did one notch and it turned out to be perfect, so very happy with that.

some quick crappy phonepics... to give an idea

Gonna do some more work on monday and shoot some more pics... its now coming to a end, and only cage needs attention, seat fitting and the harnesses, some small tidying up work and then shes ready to hit the dyno in 2 weeks.

More pics soon...

have a good weekend
