Well had a good night with Marvin (no we didnt have sex)

Ill let the pics do the talking,

Had a try with some plastidip, very strange stuff

Decided for now to use the Bosch FPR, the other one ive bought with the AN fittings is kinda big and i cant be bothered with finding a good spot for it now, ( yes were cutting edges, lol)

Can someone please play with me?

Hangtime baby!

Dont mind the rust on the sump, it will be replaced with a nice alloy one from a T16Cool
As told before, now with some pics, this is what happens when you decide to roll the car every now and then without the driveshafts in, your wheels start falling off

Bunch of faggets!!

Sorted some stuff, and cleaned up the beastscage...

Airtime!

Some picwhoring

The more i look at these pics the more its beginning to look cheapish under the bonnet, im ditching the blue silliconhoses and ordered BLACK ones, that will look much better.

Collecting more stuff inside of the car.... :S

Lets have a look how a black logo looks, better imho (green plastic is covering up the engine)

And since i Always had a crush on OMP steeringwheels since theyre pure sex but cost serious money i bit the bullet and ordered a fresh deepdish one, dish is 9.5cm that means i need to put the seat a bit more to the back.

Next weekend, its time to connect the wires, loom , etc etc

thx for watchning and have a good one

Good progress but I can't help but think the bonnet badge just looks bodged.
Given the hard work put into the rest of the project, I'd change the badge Smile

I'm inclined to respectfully agree. Its a bit odd because the main bit of the badge is hidden.
I suppose we wont know until its finished

Like the wheel!
And the brakes.

Black hoses= great decision

EGT sensorhousing welded in downpipe ( i know the manifold is a better place, but if it breaks the turbo will eat the sensor and then its byebye turbo)

Intercooler needs to be 1 cm higher , removed 2cm out of the grille
some quick shots...

intercoolerpiping in the frontbumper will also be black

Intercoolerpiping is all ready now, coolanthoses rerouted, removed some oilhoses and rerouted some.

This weekend engineloom install and then its fitting time Wink

All these hosingrerouting etc is very timeconsuming, but saves up a lot of space under the bonnet and looks better.

Hmm

I love everything you have done thus far but imo you've ruined the intercooler. I can see that your going for the stealth look but i think that's a bit too much black.

I like it, I hate the way bare ally looks after its oxidised, all crusty and dull. Good choice.

I wasnt to sure about it, it takes a bit away of the "tough" look.
Bit in real it looks a lot better then on the pics, plus everything is very dirty, and the front isnt finished yet.

Wait till the car is on its wheels again and after its been giving a good polishing, itll look ace!

Looks so much better with the black intercooler. If you are being really stealthy you can buy black anodised hose clamps as well....

    Same here..

Well its beginning to look like a enginebay again, since we already had the IC piping made up, we forgot about the auxbelt and PAS pump etc, that would now be in the way of the piping.
So we opted for the airco one, that sits high up next to the engine, this means we have no problems with the ic piping underneath.

We still need to change to the alloy sump, hopefully Marvin has some time on saturday so we can do some work again.

Ill remove the struts tomorrow and have some new wheelbearings pressed in, adapters for the big calipers should be finally ready this week.

    some pics

Ditched the DP sticker for a cleaner look

ordered some more wrinklepaint so i can do the IC piping in the frontbumper.

Hopefully we can have a teststart within the next 2 weeks, i dont know if it will start since the old program is still in the VEMS and there has a lot been changed, but hopefully it will idle so we can check everything on leaks etc.
