But is there a knack to removing the relays under the steering wheels

Specificaly the orange one

Ive tried brute force (as much as im comfortable with without feeling like im breaking it then i noticed they rotate about 35 degrees but it makes no difference?

Just pull and wiggle.

You may need to eat some Weetabix first though. Wink

Tosser Thumbs up

just pull harder, twisting will not help, that just twists the socket.

If you're removing it I assume it's because there's a problem? One of the relays on my old 306 diesel stopped working, turned out it was because it had killed itself and melted to the socket. Took some work getting that one out, but brute force all the way. Try and get a screwdriver in there and ease it out.

Tosser.

if in a "pickle" give it a "wiggle"

failing that get red faced, angry and loud at the problem part while wiggling.

I would not use a screwdriver, given the terminals are often live...

To help ease it out, spray the whole area down with water.
