Not in my double garage they won't, it's pretty well sealed, plus I have a de-humidifier in there and it's quite warm too. Smile

Also, they are both tucked up under nice warm covers. Yes

I always get this song in my head whenever I hear or read the word Kenya...

PON? The Americans use MON instead of the RON we have here, which makes people think their fuel is crap compared to ours so it could be the same in kenya.

Pump octane number, average of the RON + MON, same as the US...

Ahh ok, sake as AKI. Seems daft that something so widespread in use as this still isn't properly standardised.

The bike does get used from around March to October, and the car will also be used between April and September next year. Cool

As above. Nairobi is apparently over a mile above sea level, no wonder your highest octane is 94, have you not noticed a relative lack of oxygen? Witbank in sa is the same altitude and the average air pressure is circa 875 mbar, considerably lower than at sea level.

Suggest reading up on octane and altitude.

I'd be surprised if you'd notice lower levels of oxygen at 1,600 metres, it's only ~300 metres more than Ben Nevis and there's no struggle for air up there.
Maybe if you were exercising in Nairobi you'd feel it.

Simply walking up steps on the Altiplano is a challenge though. LOL

Who said anything about struggling for air? I said noticing a difference. I am currently at 1600 metres on the same continent - you notice the difference very early on when plucked from the UK. You've eluded to it yourself that exercise makes it extremely apparent.

Something tells me Ben Nevis is a little more chilly than Nairobi.

i forgot to ask wayne when he was mapping the car although he did say left it rich top end dont know what that is for though?
in terms of altitude it is higher here, even when gyming it isn't the same as back in u.k, i think oxygen is less here or something like that.
ordered avgas to try only downside is they sell it 200litre gallonsSmile. we'l update once i've tried it.
thanks again.
