    50kgs I thought.
Its mainly the aircon and 3 less airbags etc
Other wise most of the differences dont make much of a difference weight wise

AC pump is 8 kilos on its own, there's 3/4 of a kilo of gas+oil in the system IIRC.

condenser is 2.8 kilos, dryer is 1 kilo, evaporator is 2.2 kilos.

so that's about 16 kilos from purely the components, let alone the control units and pipework, lighter seats, less airbags, no sunroof (weighs a ton)

so yes, it does add up and yes they are about that much lighter.

    Snapper then? LOL

Sunroof would have to be 6-8 kilos including the roof panel and extra metal in roof, drain tubes etc compared to non-sunroof model, the rear non-splitting bench seat would save 1 or 2 kg, plus the alleged less underseal (is this true?) we are comfortably over 20kg already. My Rallye spec from servicebox says "no underbody protection" so no undertray would save another 4-ish kg.

I never realised all this stuff weighed so much, it's quite surprising. I stand corrected for my defiance of Rallye weight superiority.
