Beautiful? I think not, Iconic, Striking, Outlandish yeah, but not a beautiful shape by any stretch, Ferrari SWB 250 GTO, oh yes, Shelby 427 Cobra, oh yes, Ford GT40, oh yes, Jaguar E-Type, do you see where I'm going here? The Countach was revolutionary, nothing shocked the motoring world more, before or since, but effectively it's a wedge with scoops on.I just think that truly beautiful cars have to have a few more curves, but as beauty is entirely in the eye of the beholder there is no right or wrong, except for you that is! ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I saw a jag xj220 in a esso ful station last year, not pic's i'm affraid.I also saw a ultima gtr on the a13 london bound a few years ago. Not knowing what it was at the time i tried to keep up with him. The guy put his thumb up at me and i took a pic. He then proceeded to floor it and i have never seen something go so fast. Unfortunatly i had that phone stolen so the pics have gone ________________________________________ ***Breaking*** Ph3 Silver GTI 6 High Boost |

I just think that truly beautiful cars have to have a few more curves, but as beauty is entirely in the eye of the beholder there is no right or wrong, except for you that is! You must be joking, what a shape, look at one in profile just one long curve, from the rear its all angles, revealing grunt and purpose with the huge tyres hanging out from under the rear valance. Take the awful 88 skirts off that one in the photo and the rounded lower sills tucking away for 6' of flat floor side to side. My lifelong absolute most favourite car ever!!! So I suppose I am biased. Don't get me wrong the 250 gto and the original Testa-rossa stunning cars, but the Countach will always be my iconic supercar, sleek and beautiful. If we were talking about a Miura I'd be on board Steve, but I can't agree with you on the Countach though. ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
