I thought I would start a thread where you guys can post up pics of any cars you see out and about that are interesting, rare or just out of the ordinary. If it's deemed a good idea then maybe it could be a sticky and run long term so we can a thread full of all sorts of stuff that is actually out there on the road and not just copied from the net. A thread of this nature is always a gamble on this site as most things are usually turned into a load of bulls**t and arguing but let's see how it goes. If you don't like the idea then let it die with dignity Thumbs up

Disclaimer: I am in no way promoting the use of cameras whilst driving a vehicle, let your passenger take one or better still stop and take your picture.

I'll go first, I took this a while ago but it's not everyday you see these on a motorway.

Awesome. They go for ~£1m , if I remember correct.

I've worked on loads of sweet cars over the years, but this is the only car I have on my phone, for some reason.

Here's another one I saw last summer, it's a Countach obviously but had Italian plates on it. Possibly an import or a very brave driver who is touring Europe.

That was one of the great cars I wanted as a kid, hope the guy has European breakdown cover Yes

The countach is amazing. Probably like a lot of young boys at, at the time, I had a huge poster of it on my wall.

I saw a guy driving a mercielago through kings heath high street, in about three inches of snow, earlier in the year. I was desperately trying to take a pic, but phailed, miserably.

Great thing about owning a car like that is you can do that and everyone just grins at the awesomeness. Do it in an Impreza and everyone tuts and calls you a w**ker.

True, it's almost expected of you to drive in a flamboyant way. Good thing too as I always feel let down if a piece of exotica rolls by and you can't hear it. 2nd gear everywhere and lots of blips, pops and glorious overrun please!

Only car I can remember seeing on the road in recent years that actually made me want to stop and stare was the Aventador. It's a bit like the F40, you just don't realise how enormous it is until you see it in the flesh.

Absolutely fantastic, majestic, huge beast of a thing. Makes a nice change after all the generic trudgery you get these days, very little variety about. I remember when I was a kid I could always impress (/disappoint) my family with my party trick of being able to recognise what car was behind us at night, just by seeing the shape of the headlights. No chance of doing that any more.

I had to laugh, while I was chatting to the owner and taking the picture some twat Chav with a cap and a pitbull walked past and said "Nice Porsche mate!" I had to laugh, the owner just grimaced and facepalmed himself Laugh my ass off

I saw an armoured vehicle at the petrol station the other week. Wasn't the type that have tracks but had like a 30mm cannon on it. Didn't get a picture though. Doh
