To be fair, that think was mental loud. Goto a exhaust fitter and they'll be able chop and weld a small mid section box into it.

A straight through centre section will make pretty much any exhaust a lot louder. Add a decat as well and it will be very loud. Yes

Yes indeed im thinking because before i bought the car it was striped for track use but then put back in order so maybe some sound deadening was taken out? Never mind i have a scorpion centre box to put on then maybe sell as i might need a van soon Sad

many aftermarket systems are notorious for blowing their sound deadening material out, if you have the cash its probably worth giving mike at edwardsmotorsport a shout as he's pretty locla to you and might be able to replace the silencer.

Imagine what it's like then with that setup and a 4" Magnex backbox. Devil

That's what I have and it reads 131dB. Shock

You're starting it up? Shock

I'm thinking of getting a decat for the track car but don't want it to blow all the baffles out of the mid-box!

I have eddie's old system ( decat, straight through to scorpion) and it sounds really good, it's loud on wot but compared to say a magnex with a cat it's probably quieter. At cruising speed just feathering the throttle you can barely hear it, almost silent at 80!

Here's a vid of it in action

Deadly Razz my baffles are on the way out, starting to rattle and resonate now. One thing to also note with this setup you get plenty of pops and bangs, and the occasional flame Cool
