Hi,

My exhaust system is completely rotten and need replacing.
i currently have a scorpion backbox and supersprint middlebox, but it is too loud for me, so i'm looking for one quiet system, i think the Jetex system is best suited to what I want (non original).

My engine are completely original, do i have any advantage in a aftermarket system? or the original is the best?

Thanks,
Ricardo Martins

I'd go aftermarket and stainless steel as it will last forever and sound and perform much better.

Jetex have a lifetime guarantee, and probably are a similar price to a genuine standard. Then again, a genuine one should last 10 years

thanks for all replies

my main question is if with the original engine i have some gains in putting a line a little wider (2.25 vs 2.5?),

Any Jetex sound videos?

I find my jetex too loud, guess I'm getting old, unsure what the alternative is though...

Stan was 17 when it was fitted. He's now 24 and hasn't driven it since as it's too loud.

I was entertaining the idea of mild steel exhaust from miles to try get a quieter one..

Speak to miles about a mild steel one, I also dislike the Jetex tailpipe.
