Any exhaust that mates to the std ca (or decat for that matter) will do to some extent.

I love My Jetex exhaust. They are not much louder than my standard system + the sound is so nice!

Blue flame is quietYes

Miles/torque tecnique system is louder than a scorpion from idle to 3000rpm.

Magnex is louder than anything else!

And jetex have got a very ugly tailpipe, but never used one myselfDunno

I quite fancy a mild steel Torque Technique, but really, I don't want anything louder than standard and as you can't get standard back boxes now, I'm stuck

I'm getting a jetex now,
Was going to go the custom route but see no reason too when you can get Jetex's for something like 280 delivered.
And frankly I just CBA now.
A Stainless Miles one would be cool but a little out of my price range for now, Maybe if i find the jetx a bit dull i will but thats unlikely as the car is used on the motorway an awful lot.

I'd rather have the mild steel, 300ish, I think it is. But the mild steel won't sound as tinny/raspy I would imagine

The Jetex is quite raspy, but isn't tinny due to the grade of stainless used. A downside of this is that the Jetex will show some surface corrosion.

This was looked into a while ago and they wanted a group buy of 10.

You do get used to the standard Jetex back box,

The shape of the exit fits the line of the car well.

I had a Magnex cat back system with OE cat on my ph1 and it was boomy as hell, horrible!

I then had a full Sebring de-cat on my old Rallye that was nice & raspy, never seen a 306 Sebring system for sale though so believe it may have been custom made?

But tbh i think the standard system is great and my favorite so far. Has anyone tried a de-cat on standard set up? As this is something Ive considered.

Here's a pic of the jetex system. The tailpipe does really grow on you. It's nice and quiet and I can hear induction now which is a plus.

Looks pretty similar to a coked up backbox like the one I've posted? Or is it different?

The image you posted is a slashed round exit and the one I posted is oval

Also, it's 2.5" rather than 2.25" standard

Isnt it just a case of getting a decat to suit?
As the cat will be the first thing to not fit surely?
Or is it longer or something?
