Thanks for making me spend more. Was going to get a 24mm 6/VTS ARB modified for 309 beam use, but may just go big balls and get bigger now that offer is on the table. Are those prices inc the Vodka And Tonic and delivery? ________________________________________ |

Personally I wouldn't go above 21mm bars for road use, I've used 23.5mm bars and they were way too stiff for anything but nice smooth roads, even too stiff for the Nurburgring really. Summer time should bring drier roads so fit your bigger ARB then, in winter when roads are greasier I'd run a smaller bar, to provide a bit more roll and a bit more give before the back lets go. Bare in mind running big torsion bars can cause a smaller ARB to become inactive as the car doesn't roll enough for it to be any use.I'd stick with smaller torsion bars and swap the ARB with the seasons. ________________________________________ Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 1Oulton Park in a BTCC 306 vid 2 Lap of the 'ring |

Anyone wanting them should put there names on a list together with what they want. Then I can copy it across for Chris to get the order in 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. |

Hi fellas, finally bothered renewing my membership so if anyone has any questions they can ask me through here now instead. As it stands i've 12 names including me, but can add as many orders as people require. I've got three people paid up so far, as soon as I get to five I can start ordering things but the final payments/orders need to be in by the deadline of the 31st Also sizes aren't limited to 1mm increments, if you really fancied a 22.7mm set of tb's that's possible too! ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

Also delivery is £25 per order, so that's the same whether you get the torsion bars alone or torsion bars + ARB, flat rate of £25.As we've got plenty of interest already the price will definitely be £180 for a set of torsion bars, not the £220 at full price. ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |

Is this something that can be repeated? As I dont have the funds at present, but will be wanting some in the new year. If there is people in the same boat as me, can that be done? ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

Probably mate, just depends how much of an arse ache this turns out to be I guess. The prices are direct from the supplier, all i'm doing is getting a number of names together so I can get a discount on mine, £40 is £40 :If it goes smoothly there's no reason why I wouldn't do it again, but for no profit on my part it could turn out to be a lot of work for no gain if you know what i mean ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |
