not yet, ill grab some tomorrow but its still a work in progress, if you type in AN6 PTFE on ebay you will see all the parts you need, they are a pain in the arse to make but once you got the hang of it its pretty easy, marking the unions whilst making them isn't so easy..
You can buy proper vice jaws to make things easy but I didn't bother Doh

Not a very big update again but got a few little bits done

Fitted the carbon boot lid and catch pins to see how much work is needed to make the best out of a s**t fitting boot lid... Not sure if you can see but the bottom part of the boot is not parallel with the bottom panel, the bottom of the boot has not been trimmed straight and is arced so there is a bigger gap in the middle than at the ends....The top part of the boot lid hits the roof when I try to open it so some trimming will be required, I have compared the shut lines to my other car which has a 5mm gap all the way down the side whilst the carbon has anything from 5-10mm Sad good old nur-motorsport! Not sure if im going to be able to sort the shut lines but I will do my bloody best!

I then went and got some high tensile bolts for my top mounts and strut brace, Iv never seen another one of these strut braces in my whole time of pug ownership (10 years) I love how it hugs the bulk head and fingers crossed it can stay fitted as I don't think installing the engine will be an issue with it in place

I know its a bit pointless installing the rest of the cage at this point but I really had a bad feeling that it wasn't going to fit properly due to it being manufactured out of the car so tonight I decided I would test fit it Crazy
The bolts are not done up tight but at least all the bolts fit lol

Bit tight in places and needed to lever the rear cage away from the shell to get the door bars in Unsure

I kind of wish that I placed the windscreen bar higher up so that it was actually against the roof but I copied my safety devices cage and that's where it was located on that...
I have decided this is my last ever build and next time I will buy a car that's already done, don't get me wrong I love getting my hands dirty and starting from scratch but its so time consuming and expensive

Cracked on with the car last night and this morning :-)
Fitted the heater unit and blanked off the air outlets so that it only comes out of the windscreen vents, tightened the fuel and brake line bulk head fittings, fitted the rest of the pedals and then finally fitted the dash and connected all the electrical connectors, I then fitted the wiper motor just to finish that area off

This afternoon iv really got to send my hubs off to bridgecraft engineering as iv been meaning to do it for a while and could really do with having them back so I can get the dimma back on it's wheels

Well that's the hubs sent away now so I came home and did a little more

First on my list to do was hoover the inside of the car out and take out all the rags etc that I used to protect the floor whilst I was messing around inside.
Looks a lot tidier and cleaner inside now, iv still got to securer the loom to the floor

I then made some carbon panels to cover the 2 fuel tank access holes ( I will need to cut 2 holes in the smaller panel for the supply and return fuel pipes

Not sure if I will keep it on there but I decided to heat shrink the handbrake handle for those cold track day mornings lol

When I was down the flock shop I noticed he had flocked some rocker covers and was surprised when he said that the flock will cope with the heat so that made me think...
I was going to get the engine bay fuse box and ecu box hydro dipped in carbon but after a little think I didn't really want fake carbon after all the money spent on real carbon so iv taken the plunge and given him my fuse box to do to see how it comes out...

I cut the battery box off of the ecu box so that is ready to be taken to get flocked once I see how the fuse box looks

Im starting to come to a work stop again until I manufacture some seat subframes and start to strip the super high boost

I will probably get the original dimma wheel up to the wheel specialists soon and get them done in gloss black and then its time to strip Rich W's old car, take the engine to lynx, get loads more bits powder coated etc and then carry on rebuilding it over the Christmas holiday

Got a little more done to this but not a great deal and not a lot more I can do without stripping Rich's old car and even then im waiting for my hubs, straight cut gear set etc.

I will try and replace the pics that have been deleted one day as this thread is a good place for me to store all the hard work that I have put into it if I ever come to sell the car

Tidied the wiring up inside and secured it to the shell

Iv got loads of braided line now so have started to route that but again I am at a loose end literally until the engine is in

As iv sold the kw's that were fitted to rich's car I decided to strip the rear beam and fit my powder coated parts to it to make it look a bit cleaner

This beam will only be used until I get the wide track beam sorted so its not as clean or refurbished like everything else that has been fitted to this car

Fitted my new powder coated baker bm mounts and coated mounting frame/brackets along with powder coated brackets for the new brake lines and handbrake cables
