Haven't done a lot lately but here is a few pics of what I have done

The power steering tank was coated grey like the subframe but it didn't look that good so I got it done in black instead

I also made the fuel line for the filter and fitted the spacers and mounts for that

Iv got the dash all rubbed down and ready to be flocked so just waiting for the the flock shop to get back in contact with me to say when they can do it.

Wont be doing a great deal on the dimma for the next week as im a bit ill and iv just been told that iv got to get the grey car out of where im storing it before next weekend so I guess I need to get my arse in gear, strip it and scrap it Sad

Got a little bit done today but not a lot Sad

As you can see the brake fluid has stripped the paint and allowed surface rust to build up so I rubbed it down to bare metal (forgot to take pics) and then used some zinc primer on it

A tip for anyone else that is going to do this... A royal purple bottle top with a few wraps of electrical tape makes a nice bung for the master cylinder hole and used an old grommet for the vac pipe hole...
I then gave it a few coats of black paint

I also stripped the interior looms down so on the little loom that starts under the heater unit with the red and brown plug I now only have 7 or 8 wires as I removed the speaker wires, rear heated screen wires, rear lock wires, rear wiper motor wires, rear interior light wires and some other wires that just went to some unused connectors

I also stripped some of the main interior loom that goes from under the drivers side dash to the drivers side door, all the way to the drivers rear quarter and then all the way round the car to the passenger door.. I "think" I removed the seat air bag wires, pre tensioner wires and some other crap lol

Its still a hell of a lot of wires and a long way to route around the car just to go from one door to the other... Im thinking about getting rid of the lot and just having a separate alarm installed just to lock unlock the doors as im not fussed about electric windows or mirrors...

I made the fuel lines my self, I got all my stuff from thinkautomotive but it was bloody expensive, the unions alone are £15-25 each but you can get similar on flea bay just not as good quality (mine are aircraft approved spec)
Iv used ptfe fuel line so hopefully I shouldn't get any fuel smell in the car.

The paint was dry so I refitted the servo and master cylinder and then fitted the clutch and brake pedal inside however I have made a big boo boo....
The steering rack bracket I had powder coated takes a spigot style accelerator pedal attachment with a clip to hold it in place and allow it to rotate, me being a knob chucked that style of pedal and kept the bolt type....

Luckily iv still got the bolt type of steering rack bracket so it looks like iv got to get that powder coated before the rack and accelerator pedal can get fitted, mega p**sed off Sad
