is that just a caliper adapter to allow a bigger disc - eg same pads?

Well as we finally got some dry weather today I managed to get the engine out ready to be picked up and taken to lynx for some work to be done, still don't think I'm going to have the dimma built in time for fcs due to me going away with work in Feb and don't get back until the end of may

Lots left to do:
Get the straight cut box done
Fit the neg camber hubs
Get a rad and intercooler
Finish off the body work and carbon
Buy and fit lots of gauges
Make subframes for the seats
Buy p4p Windows
Get a new windscreen
Plus loads if other little bits Sad

Was meant to be this year as well as le mans and spa but I can't see it happening especially as I need to do a few "shake down" airfield days and see if the negative camber hubs need more or less camber!
It's very scary to think that iv built the car from scratch and that no one has checked my work Unsure

Well it currently doesn't have a dip stick so as the sump needs to come off to take the bung out I might as well have the big and main bearings changed, I'm also getting them to paint the engine.
I'm more than capable of doing the above myself but I'm running out of time and fingers crossed will work out cheaper fir lynx to do it than me taking time off work!
I really want the car built and finished now, starting to loose interest and the love to be honest

Yep it worried me a bit too, relying on French electrics and sensors for oil level doesn't really fill me with confidence lol
Thanks for all the comments forum buddies, you lot are the only thing that keeps me going

Rich was worried it was causing a heat build up on the cylinder was he not? This was when he was running 500bhp plus I think. I'll ask Rich next time I speak to him.

Well Rich and Nick came and picked up the engine today, ross is correct with the reason why it didn't have a dip stick but rich said it was also because when he was running more power they thought the front of the block wasn't being cooled down enough so added a water manifold at the front going into the core plugs but as that is removed and I'm not running 500hp I can now have the dipstick

Work im getting done
Sump removed- getting powdercoated silver
Big and mains replaced
Cambelt and water pump changed
Dipstick fitted-once powder coated
The cam covers and inlet mani will be painted the same colour as the car once rich/nick remove them as I ran out of time
The exhaust mani will just got shot blasted
The block will get painted black
Adapter fitted to remove the heat exchanger and I will buy a oil filter relocation kit for it
The charger bracket and power steering relocation kit will either get replated or ill give them a dust coating of black paint
