Morning Campers,

Up until very recently I had a Monaco Blue Clio 172, nice car but wanted something with a bit more space as my wife is now pregnant again, so with another on it's way it could get tight in the boot for a buggy etc should we need to use my car. Plus a bigger boot means I can get my golf clubs in more easily.

Anyway, been without a 306 for a couple of years now, had plenty of them in the past but never a white one and never a Rallye, so when the opportunity came along to swap my Clio for a Rallye I put some thought into it.

So I met wilyoldave yesterday to have a look round each others cars and do a deal.

Very pleased with it, not been able to enjoy it as yesterday was a complete washout, but looking forward to some dry weather. Here's a few old pics that Dave took, some newer ones to follow with better weather.

Good to be back properly, hopefully see some of you soon

Morning Fella, yeah I thought I'd try and even it out a bit. Still got the 6?

Will keep it in the garage over the winter, looks a difficult car to keep clean

Family car if needed, the wife has an A4 Avant, but with 2 kids if one needs to go somewhere else then I can take them easily in the Rallye.

Is pretty clean, could probably do with a machine polish and mop to bring the white back to its original colour as it's dulled a little over the years.

I'm stopped for speeding on a daily basis but now the police are aware that I live for the 306 they dare not interfere, just sit in their cars quaking as I drive past.

Break them/fix them up/lease them out or sell them on.

Was doing well but like the 6/rallye they are getting cheaper and alot of people are breaking them now so the market is getting smaller.

But you're right about the golf clubs the boot in the clio is crap for fitting them in LOL

Yup still got it, not sure how much longer for though. Don't have the time nor money these days. I drove past yours the other day actually, wondered what you were up to.
