so, the question is; who has used them? and did they produce any judder or noise in their operation?

Hello, I know you can run Clio 172 pads with our callipers and that they're 1mm smaller in all dimensions, so, the question is; who has used them? and did they produce any judder or noise in their operation? ________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |

I use clip fitment pads in my track car the only noise is when you reverse, they shift in the caliper causing a clunk, apart from that absolutely no problems! jsa666 wrote: Why would you want to do this? i would imagine they would move about in the caliper, Because Carbon Lorraine rc6's are over £50 cheaper in clio fitment! So I can deal with a slight clunk when reversing to save over £50 in a car that very rarely reverses! ![]() ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! eliotrw wrote: Cheaper :p I thought they were the same though There is a slight size difference but for the saving it's worth it, it's as said above roughly a mm in pad length iirc. ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! As for the cost of standard pads in Clio fitment compared to pug fitment I wouldn't know really. But if there was a small saving to be had IMO it would be worth using them, just turn the stereo up when reversing lol! ![]() ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! Thanks chaps! It's the use of the smaller pads I'm asking about as the M1144 pads are a cheaper than Pug specific. I'm obviously just concerned that 1mm is quite a size difference ________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |
