And i trial fitted my new grill that came from the DturboS - that many of you remember

Nice project pal.

You'll probably spend more on insuring the car than fixing it up though Dunno

Imagine the grill in black and on the Rallye, this is what it looked like on the old Dturbo S

Bear in mind that the Morrettes will be going and replaced with Crystal PH3 Headlights.

Therefore; if anyone is interested in having them, i'd preferably want Crystals in exchange (once i make sure these ones are in good enough condition to pass on).

Aside from that, thanks for the comments and opinions so far!

Well, the morettes i can't sell anyway, bloody things have rusted through so they're in the bin.

Just need some crystals to fill the empty place now.
The Grill is staying, it's unique to me and IMO not Chavvy lol, i dislike chavs and the plans i have for this car are definitely not involving chavvy things.
That aside, everyone is entitled to their opinion!! Big grin

Also Cooling fans are needing replacing due to them being broken!

Some more Photo Whorage for you all!

Corey my son helping out (eventually had to take some of the tools off of him after he tried hammering in my Passenger door lock Wink

Then kindly placing all the tools from the floor onto my engine

The wheels had to take a beating before they came off of the hubs!!! Shock

So much rust!!!

That concludes the morning events, car is waiting for the afternoon finishes.

No point now, the fixings have snapped!

Right, spent today removing the engine - long old process after i had to angle grind through the Ball joint and a couple of other Bolts.

I also had to wire brush the rust off of my chassis minimising the corrosion that had occurred

Gained some more things to add to my shopping list
Droplinks
Ball joints
Driveshafts.
x1 Cyclone to use as a spare.

Very simple answer for a simple question:

The bolts wouldn't come out, they had to be heated up just to knock them through and i'm replacing the Balljoints as they are 'Fubard' Sad

Judging by the amount of rust and corrosion on the parts, this hasn't been taken apart/serviced properly in forever!
