You think one piece will work ok?Without the larger end on the bushes that sit between arm and x-member?Dunno

Ref anti-dive,think its abit of bullLOL but if you look at the bush on the Powerflex P-bush the hole in the bush is off centre,so must change some susp anglesSmile

It's also wrong, they've moved the hole the wrong way, it's actually pro-dive.

until ive had front bush made and actually tried it, i really cant say for sure!, but saying that, the OE bushes have a

metal collar between subframe and arm whereas the Powerflex bush doesnt so you may have a point!!

if you think about it, when you fit the arm with the front bolt slack, you can feel a fair bit of play, then when

you tighten the bolt the free movement disappears, so i can see why the front bushes (powerflex) dont work too well,

think i need to, erm, 'rethink' my idea lol, bear with me tho, i will come up with something

.....i wonder why vibratechnics don't make a front bush? or have i not searched hard enough?!!

looking back on this, i always thought the P bush would've been the challenge here but seems i

thought wrong

Phillipm - yea, looking at P.Flex pics, the hole does seem very offset

Just tried to order the partnet wishbones bushes and bolts from peugeot.
67 quid!!!! Forget that s**t....

I then asked for two sets of the balljoint nuts that fix them to the wishbones 27 quid!
Anyone know where you can get all this stuff cheaper?
Bolts/nuts/washers should be about for less than that surely?

yeah just need to work out the size and stuff.
Bushes are still a mystery though. Get i could get the lemforder partners? they must be good surely.
Although even those are 22 each.

I need the bolts for a partner i believe for the wishbones jobbies.
How come they have a bolt near the actual bush too? cant see what it does?

Partner bushes are listed higher up this thread on E-Bay,cheapDunno

All P bushes are held on by two bolts, the big one that holds ARB clamp down, and then a smaller one that bolts threw subframe into P-bushThumbs up

I recently got a lemforder P bush from Euro car parts, cant remember how much i paid but it wasnt too bad after the 31% discount.
Seemed a bit of a bugger to line the tapped holes up with the holes on the subframe though, as if they were marginally too close together on the bush. I might have just been fannying around though as it was throwing it down and i was trying not to get all my tools soaked.

Was it a lemforder 306 style one or a partner style one?

The subframes bend and distort quite easily where the bottom P-bush bolt is - might not have been the bush that was made wrong but rather a bit of twist in the frame. I don't think I've seen one car with that bit straight and true yet, including my own...

One day eliotrw might decide to rebuild his suspension, instead of asking a perplexing series of more involved answers than he can handle (till the next question)

Will do Smile
Thinking I might bite the big ugly peugeot bullet for the bushes now though as I just CBA for this s**t now.
Im just going to dedicate the next few months (And all my f**king money)
On sorting the car out so I can stuff a blower on it in spring and blissfully pootle down the motorway with no knocking suspension. All my coolant INSIDE the engine and radiator rather than p**sing out of some little hole somewhere.
