Nope that would buy you 2 tidy 6s and no btcc lower arms are actually pretty simple

what did they use? surely not OE arms??

Not far off just rose jointed ball joints as far as I'm aware? prob different front and rear arm bushes As well ?

They're pretty s**t tbh, just have a rose joint in shear slapped in the end of the balljoint plate.

I'd assume they did their geo changes by moving the inboard pivots and just used the joint to correct any manufacturing tolerances.

Custom-made polybushes available - need an odd size or fitment? - anything from batch work to one-off pieces.

Quite probably, mind you find if you get far enough up the motosport echelons and they go away from adjustable arms and just have dozens of arms with different settings, then swap and change, wouldn't be hard to tweak the bushes and/or arms to get what they wanted.

5 metres, so i take it there will be a group buy thread starting soon, for some reason I always though they was cast from like a hot melted plasticky liquid.

Thats 2 people, anyone else???

They wont be ready for about a week, as said i'm waiting

for material to be delivered and then need to wait for my mate

to machine them

if theres enough interest i would go to the engineers and make

Them up in bulk

mine were, but they work on a little different principle compared to machined pivots.

cost, it depends on who i get to machine them, if i go to an engineering

firm then obviously they will cost more to make unless i can go

in and say i need say 10 sets

Look goodThumbs up

only downside is the cost of the alloy p-bushes from pug to start withThumbs down

as you can get powerflex p-bushes for not alot more than the price of the pug bushesDunno

yes thats true, but from what i have read on here the powerflex one's are s**t!, i'm not saying mine will be any

better but given the material i'm using then they may well be, time will tell

Welshpug - my only worry about the cheap one's from ebay is the internal diameter may be different and the overall

quality might not be as good as the OE brackets, the cheaper patern part copies are made by the mile and cut off by

the inch lol but saying that i guess theres no harm in trying them on my own car

I did some rough calculations earlier, to buy the 2 brackets from Peugeot, buying the stainless steel sleeving

for the front bushes then the poly itself, looking at just shy of £70, then machineing costs if i have to go to a firm,

thats the cost price for a full set

also i can make these with 2 different types of material:

1- Polyurethene 'Shore 90' basically means the hardness of it

2-Nylon 66, a self lubricating material thats ideal for shock loaded components - Bushes!

Theres very little cost difference between the 2 types, whatever i get, i have to buy a minimum

of 5 meters

i will buy a couple of these before i get bushes made up, don't want to go daft making sets up only to find out they

don't fit the cheaper aluminium brackets,

btw, nearly done 350 miles on my car and no problems yet, wish i had thought of this ages ago, steering, braking

and the general feel of the car is just soooo much better and thats with shagged rear mounts!
