If it says it will be raining, it won't. Weather people are always bloody wrong!

Even if it's raining should still be a fairly good laugh.

It's never 100 miles from Slapding to Donington.. about 60 surely?

Want to convoy over with us? I'm at Uppingham on the A47.

Couple of track sessions and say hello to some people on here. I wouldnt go if it was far away, but both Donington and Rockingham are close to me.

I went fcs a few years ago and it had a good atmosphere, went last year and there was no atmosphere, was abit dissapointed.

I think thats the whole idea of the move to donnigton though to refresh it, end of the day its a french car show and theres not many of them about, vag boys have loads to go too.

I suppose you've got a point, there isn't overly much on offer for French Cars so I can see why some people take every opportunity for a show with both hands. Yes

I guess it will be a kind of 'refresh' moving venue but the same things will still be there, just a different, better circuit. Smile

The show has git to big and commercialised !!!

To think it started off as the PGAC national day at Stanford hall, then they invited a select number of other French car clubs!!

Then moved to Bruntingthorpe, I enjoyed the show there, pity the track wasn't so good!!!

Then it went to rockingham and the whole atmosphere of the event changed!!

It's now not so much a show for enthusiasts but a money making exercise for the organisers!!!

I wouldn't bother with them if there wasn't track time... Even with that on offer, I can't really be bothered.

Used to happen with bikes. Why I'd want to drive somewhere just to have q chat, I'll never know. This particular bike meet was pretty gay though, they'd all meet up, talk for an hour, ride 10mins to someone's house for a cup of tea.

THEN they'd go to a big roundabout and try and get their knees down... *yawns*

This is a good point, it definitely is a show for the enthusiasts and that's one reason I've always liked it. Yes
