that's because it's better to have full control over your thread rather than automated fields, and you can customise your imagery and forum code like bold etc to make it neat and tidy. the peugeots for sale section is ok but it just needs monitoring so each thread has complete info rather than HI MY CAR ON EBAY LINK IS HERE BYE

the classifieds is a good idea but you don't get much ability to control anything on it. plus the images are still all out of aspect ratio when displaying them

Threads moved. Please try to keep things in the right section and use the Classifields tool for advertising cars. Future threads may be removed entirely, without being saved.

It was moved to 'Parts For Sale' as Rikky had informed me he now wished to break the car and sell for parts, hence I moved it. Wink

    Ryan,

It was decided that non-members could still buy/sell cars as it is for the good of the club, with a view to possibly keeping the cars within the club capacity.
It seemed a good idea when discussed, so we rolled with it. Wink

stan, I know things are stagnant in the sale market but I am definitely finding it frustrating that there is no way to promote price drops or additional information which would help cars that are actually avialable to still be on top of the pile rather than cars that are sold the way it crrently works.... Not having a go as I know I have had my prices high but that was in reflection of the work carried out on the cars and what I want for them not apparently the market value. We can rename the site "pound land" at the rate the gti6's and rallyes are being sold lately.

I agree with this as I've dropped my price and it doesn't reflect this in the thread.

I also can't seem to get pics to work even after resizing them?

personally i think the peugeots for sale being exactly as it was so you have full control over it was miles better
