Anyone else had a s**t day with their 306's?

Ive just finished an engine change, filled it with fresh coolant, took it for an mot and on the ramp
the fecking heater matrix decided to spit its coolant out the pram Doh

So im now covered in f**king coolant fighting a heater matrix firewall grommitThumbs down and the car in a million bits.

Only took me an hour to get it out thoughBig grin LOL

Mike.

P.s, Yes Andy its your fault Flip

no, i literally finished it and drove it 500 yards to the mot place. warming it up on the ramp and i had an airlock in the matrix,. bled it out and it p**sed its knickers. there was evidence of radweld in the rad and the matrix has literally fell to bits. hg is ok as i have block tested it and theres no pressure when hot.

dont know what mike's moaning about... he's getting paid, in hot cross buns.

The previous owner spent 6k including 3k for a new lump in that car at a prestigous tuners only for their work to be null and voided in less than 500 miles by a fecked radiator as they hadnt flushed the system, which mike did to find the shagged radiator and matrix. another good day for me, sorry you got the matrix job mike!!! but well worked out, another cracking job. you should be the midlands 306 expert by the time roland stops selling me his off casts!!!

100 down the motorway.
Then sped up to 110 to clear the Matiz, micra and robin reliant before it went to a 50 temp limit and went to 1 lane.
Pity I didn't manage to pull it off before the 50 limit, and the unmarked 3 series shot up and got In behind me just as it went to 1 lane, blue lights and thought s**t.
I never realised I was in the 50 limit till they said in the back of the car.
Oh well it's my own fault I drive up there daily, of it hadn't of changed to 50 I would of just had a fine an 3 points issued then and there they said.
Instead il lbe getting a summons.
Sad

How long you get ash?

i feel this, stil chasing a starting problem that makes an otherwise reasonable looking car look like a pile of s**t. Sometimes it will start fine others not. Usually when theres a friend or family member watching it will really take the p**s an i begin to wonder if the c**t will ever start again at all.

i love it when bikers get caught speeding , you always get some geek in glasses on the news going on about the take off speed of a aeroplane/jet. 176 is a bit severe carl. buzz for over a ton you are looking at a ban though, 3 months at least surely and a earnings related fine.
life is a b**ch actually 176 must be some sort of club record surely? carl you legend
