176 is a good speed to be done at... a little disappointing though as the speedo would have been reading closer to 200? haha________________________________________ Red Rallye - Rolling "restoration"Wishbone Polybushes available |

New years day set the trend for this year. My birds zx exhaust fell off so we got that done. Then she had mot and tax that month too. Then her car started to run funny from cold (not hg), sorted that. Now her cat has gone so getting that done saturday. Then my poorly repaired top engine mount cradle broke again got that done and has my cambelt done only to find my lower engine mount has a split so have to sort that now too. Oh yeah, and I got road tax this month too. All fun and games eh. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Pity I didn't manage to pull it off before the 50 limit, and the unmarked 3 series shot up and got In behind me just as it went to 1 lane, blue lights and thought s**t. I never realised I was in the 50 limit till they said in the back of the car. Oh well it's my own fault I drive up there daily, of it hadn't of changed to 50 I would of just had a fine an 3 points issued then and there they said. Instead il lbe getting a summons. How long you get ash? Since they weren't matching your speed and following for any distance, how can they possibly give the speed you were travelling at? Did they shoot up behind you after you had braked for the 50mph zone? |

Yes they wasn't behind me they was fairly far behind then after braking and getting in front of the matiz's in the 50 they then hurtled up got behindMe And I pulled straight over, only reason I caught there eye is cos the guy who I work for is a useless c**t an hasn't updated his reg to the insurance database as its a traders policy. Like a dick head I tried to be ok with them and I said I was doing 90-95 but I also said the speedo is 10 mph out so in my head that was 80-85 ish. I shouldn't of said nothing but I was hoping I'd got a good pair who would be lenient if they saw I was a honest fella. It didn't work . I watched the video in the car and the speed on it was what they said. Does this work by gps o there car ten it bounces a radar of the car there following and back to work out the speed? Maybe I will be able to plea guilty to the 100 in a 70 and hopefully they will drop the 50 limit s**t. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

They got close a few times but the cars that pulled over to let me past pulled back out, and halted there progress . They then said I was harassing other drivers to pull over ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

Nope not at all, we're so pressured to get the jobs done and as we're self employed and payed for what run we do, we do try and make up time when travelling back I the car to collect more trucks. Thing is daft c**t here will be banned and other lads still earning away. O well I suppose I'm lucky to have lasted 11 years without a motoring conviction, it's a decent run. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |
