owain wrote: Surely is posts are deleted they're replaced with a [post deleted] or something? Nope.. Billyboy posted with a picture of Snoop on the previous page... I quoted with a photo of Snoopy.. Initially the photo was removed... I can understand that.. Snoopy can be offensive sometimes.. I see this morning that both posts have been removed.. I accept that they provided no usefulness to the thread but thats shouldn't mean that they can just be deleted... ________________________________________ Ph2.5 Nile - Slowly trying to de-East London it and restore to former glory...Built on the 9 Febuary 1999 - Tuesday's car..is full of pace? Would definitely save on confusion, nothing more annoying than seeing replies to comments that aren't there any more, especially when reading back on a thread you weren't reading "at the time".________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Anyway I don't really think the site has changed at all to be honest. I do think that some more threads should be protected from deletion as they are genuinely useful (certain brake, engine and suspension ones spring to mind). Maybe there should be a Useful Thread section as they often aren't FAQs as such. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

Yup, what you want is the post replaced (possibly don't bother showing avatars, sigs etc so it's smaller) and replace it with something like: [removed by Admin - offtopic] or [removed by Admin - language] ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
